February 7, 2000 Opinion: It's Arrived
- The FY 2001 budget request is public and available for all to look at. We will
take a break in our analysis and prognostication and read what the Administration actually
is stating in its request. You should also read the request, available at:
- The White House web site, with additional materials adding the Administration's views on what the budget request is all about.
- The OMB documents are at the GPO site. (The OMB site itself will simply redirect you to the GPO site.)
- As can be expected, the documents are in great demand. February 7 in the morning the GPO site was not available to me, probably due to heavy traffic, but the White House site was fast and easy to get to. Good luck in your search. We will pick up with performance measures and the news hidden in the budget next week.
